COVID-19 Resources for Photographers and Artists
The situation around COVID-19 resources are changing daily with new resources and grants coming out what feels like every few days. Considering how much the Coronavirus has affected the art community, I wanted to put together a list of resources I’ve found over the past few days that are out there to help artists. -Can be used to cover business overhead, payroll and other expenses
THE PHOTOGRAPHER FUND by Format
*Grants up to $500
-Intended for self-employed photographers facing financial hardship
-Anyone in the global photography community is welcome to apply
ARTS AND CULTURE LEADERS OF COLOR EMERGENCY FUND by Arts Administrators of Color
*Grant of $200
-The link takes you directly to a Google Form
THE CREATOR FUND by ConvertKit
*Grants up to $500
-Funds can be applied towards medical expenses, childcare, groceries, rent/mortgage
FREELANCERS RELIEF FUND by Freelancers Union
*Grants up to $1,000 to cover lost income and essential expenses not covered by government relief programs such as: food, utility payments, income loss, and medical costs
-Applications for funding open APRIL 2, 2020
ARTIST + ACTIVIST RELIEF FUND by The Soze Foundation
*Grants between $250-$750
-Intended as general assistance to artists and activists whose work has been impacted by COVID-19
ARTIST RELIEF PROJECT by Artly World Nonprofit
*Grants of $200
-Open to all artists dealing with event cancellations
