THE NIKON D850
Like any other photographer or tech lover, Nikon's announcement of the D850 is something that turned heads everywhere. After some hand's on time with, I can say it lives up to the hype with the specs it's borrowed from the D5 and ergonomics that would make it easy to hold on to for longer shoots. 4K shooting and 8K timelapse are wonderful. The Nikon D850 is a camera most photographers won't need but you definitely will want.
I shoot actors and actresses. I photograph for entrepreneurs, businesses and companies. The D850's 45.7 megapixel count is overkill by all rational standards for studio work, but that should lend to sharper images when reduced to a smaller resolution. Full-Frame 4K without crop is a dream, and the ability to scale down to a sharp 1080p is the kind of thing that would help deliver cleaner videos for clients.
As a tool, with better lowlight performance and autofocus, and 4K, this is going to be a game changer.
