Hello! My name is Chris Creese, and I’m a photographer & cinematographer. I specialize in creating visual content for brands, media, and personalities in the entertainment industry, as well as commercial content for businesses.
When I was 4 years old, I received a gift: a 35mm Fisher-Price Perfect Shot camera. It helped me channel a vivid imagination, and helped me foster the love of photography at a very early age. Working with big brands such as the UNCF and CBS has honed my process of delivering quality results consistently and quickly.
My goal with photography is to not only to get my clients results with vivid and striking imagery, but push the imagination of those who dare to create something meaningful.
During high school, and throughout college, I was still taking photos with various Kodak point & shoot cameras. During this time, I was fortunate enough to spend a week traveling through Japan, walking around the electric streets of the Akihabara district, and capturing images while being soaked by instantaneous thunderstorms in Shin-Yokohama. I loved the challenge of photographing the major cities of a completely different country. This passion for exploration and creativity through visual work eventually lead me to design work.
The design work eventually lead me to creative projects for stand-up comedians, and back to photography. After working on a project, I had an epiphany; I could take the skills I had learned for years from design work and bring that back into my photography. Evolving the ideas I had tried out in design work, I wanted to bring that aesthetic into photos and videos. With a Nikon D7100 in hand, I began working with local brands across the East Coast to create content for their e-commerce platforms, social media accounts and websites.
Eventually, it has lead me to working with bigger names, such as CBS. As the world becomes more mobile and visual, it pushes me to create exciting, captivating work that connects the bridge between storytelling and emotion.
