I just got back from a weekend in one of my favorite cities, Los Angeles for ComplexCon Long Beach 2019. I have been a fan of the brand for years, so to get the opportunity to be a part of the event this year was very exciting.

ComplexCon, for the uninitiated, is a weekend convention hosted by Complex Media that features and connects people and brands from all different intersections of culture, from photography and liquor to video games and food, to music and fine art. If you’re a fan of anything in that realm, ComplexCon had something for you.

The First We Feast Food Lagoon had so many options for good eats, from my friends at Deadstock Coffee with their Godzilla collaboration featured above in the photo, to places like Veggie Fam that sold gourmet veggie burgers with truffles to popular staples like Milk Bar.

I had two major reasons to be at ComplexCon this year. I love the culture that ComplexCon highlights, since a lot of elements revolve around creativity in various mediums, and designs. Being around everyone from Rick Ross to Casey Neistat, it’s very hard not to be inspired to create. The second reason I went out there was to meet people. Online introductions are all well and good, but meeting people in person will always be better.

Outside of exclusive merch drops, epic performances by Kid Cudi and company, and people who were all fans of the culture, it was an amazing event to attend.
