Change of Pace

The last month has been tumultuous. I spent the latter part of February filming with the Intiman Theater, while also packing to move. With my focus less on Instagram and more on making this project the best I could, I used the time in between edits to take a step back and look at the content I was putting out. Was it authentic? Did it make me happy? Did I have a strategy for making this a great community? I began to feel overwhelmed by overanalyzing all the details, and spent the last few weeks with my nose buried in whatever article or book I thought would help. I felt paralyzed by not seeing a way forward until sometime last week. 

I've spent enough time trading stories with other professionals in my field, came to realize that it those I talked to didn't get to where they are by just reacting or research, but by DOING. One thing creates another thing, opens one door which opens another. So, when I thought about what I love doing most, it came back to three things: being around and working with creatives/personalities, fashion, and tech and using photography as the unifying medium to communicate that passion. Creating content around those two things has been where my work has been the best. Time to lean in. Hope you enjoy the ride.
